“And one by one the nights between our separated cities are joined to the night that unites us.”
― Pablo Neruda
I love the quote above, and I find it so fitting with this love story of Pablo and Kaitlin's. My cousin Pablo has lived in so many cities throughout his young life- London, Madrid, he's lived in Germany, and now Brooklyn- Kaitlin and Pablo met in Brooklyn, but Kait is from Philadelphia, where our Grandparents met so many years ago...serendipitous and oh so beautiful.
The blog post preceding this one, was Pablo and Kaitlin's engagement session- please feel free to scroll back a post to see the fun filled afternoon in Brooklyn.
Pablo is my first cousin, my dad's brother's son. Being there to photograph the day was amazing. I'm truly grateful to have two new cousins, Pablo's wife Kaitlin, and their beautiful son Thomas. There were so many great moments of the day, and I'm supremely thankful that my friend Ralph Nardell was beside me to help photograph the day. He spent lots of time with my cousin and his brother and friends, along with the baby, as they got ready for the wedding. I adore so many of his shots of Pablo and Thomas. I spent the morning with Kait and her girls. It was awesome to get to know her family and friends better.
Pablo and Kaitlin had a beautiful, warm, unseasonable February Day. In fact, Kaitlin joked that she picked a winter wedding because she didn't want to be overheating on her wedding day! We were able to enjoy some nice outside shots with the spring like weather.
Below, some favorite images from the day...there were so many! It was so awesome to see and spend time with my near and far away family. Love them all.
Pablo and Kaitlin, love you both so much!
