Janey and Dan are two very dear souls whom I've had the pleasure of getting to know just recently. I am thrilled to tell their story as they are getting ready to get married next summer. I absolutely adore the story of how they met. Dan was working at a bookstore that Janey would frequent a few years back - The cutest thing, Janey needed to place an order for some books, but unfortunately Dan couldn't get them through the store. However, not wanting to disappoint, he ordered the books somewhere else, paid for them, and called Janey to let her know that he had them in. He then proceeded to ask Janey out for a date. It doesn't get much cuter than that.
Janey and Dan match their sweetstory equally with their beauty and love for each other. When I asked them where they would like to do engagement pictures, they asked me if I knew of any nice bookstores that would photograph well. I knew of just the place.
This session took place in two places. The first was Baldwin's Book Barn in West Chester. Two friends of mine introduced me to this little gem of a space a few years back, and I was completely hooked. It's extraordinary if you've never been. The building is literally a barn, and it is filled to the brim with books. Oh, and they have cats that just saunter in and out of rooms . Just in case you need another reason to visit.
After the book barn we headed to Valley Forge Park. The day was a gorgeous, bright, breezy, summery. Just like Janey and Dan.
As we spent time together taking pictures we shared lots of stories- Janey and Dan were so much fun! I am really looking forward to their wedding next summer, i know it will be just as gorgeous as the two of them.
